MNC400120600 - Minichamps 1/43 Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior - Red

The Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior arrived in 1968 as a homologation special for the European Touring Car Championship’s 1300 cc class. It was based on the Bertone-designed Giulia coupé, and the “A” stood for Alleggerita (lightened), thanks to aluminium body panels and a twin spark, twin cam 1.3 litre engine prepared by Autodelta. The Junior dominated its class through the early 1970s, winning multiple European championship titles, and remains one of the most celebrated small touring cars ever built.
