The ZTQ15 Light Tank is a modern Chinese PLA reconnaissance and fire-support vehicle designed for rapid deployment in high-altitude and rugged terrain where heavier main battle tanks struggle to operate. Sometimes referred to as the “Type 15,” it features a relatively light chassis, modular armor protection, a 105mm rifled gun with modern fire-control systems, and an emphasis on mobility and battlefield awareness. Meng’s 1/35 scale kit captures this contemporary design with finely detailed surface texture, accurate turret geometry, and highly refined running gear suited to modern PLA service configurations.
