The Aerospatiale SA 365N Dauphin 2 is a twin-engined medium utility helicopter that first flew in 1979, distinguished by its enclosed Fenestron tail rotor. It became a mainstay of VIP transport, offshore support, and search and rescue work worldwide, and the design evolved into the US Coast Guard's HH-65 Dolphin. Production continued under Eurocopter and Airbus Helicopters into the 2010s.
