The night fighter Meteors were developed and built by Armstrong Whitworth rather than Gloster, stretching the airframe to fit AI radar and a second crewman. They guarded UK and NATO night skies through the 1950s until replaced by the Javelin, with the definitive NF.14 distinguished by its clear-blown sliding canopy. This Matchbox tooling builds any of the three radar-nosed variants and remains the only mainstream injection kit of the type in 1/72.
