The Oldsmobile 442 took its name from its original recipe of a four-barrel carburettor, four-speed gearbox and dual exhausts, and by 1967 it had grown into a full-fledged muscle car with a 400 cubic inch V8. That year Oldsmobile introduced the W-30 package, a low-production option that added a forced air induction system feeding cool air from intakes below the front bumper through large hoses to the air cleaner, along with a hotter camshaft and the battery relocated to the trunk. Lindberg's 1/25 kit captures this rare early W-30, complete with the distinctive induction ducting under the opening hood.
