ITA074 - Italeri 1/72 Me-410 Hornisse - WWWEB10106980
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Messerschmitt Me 410 Hornisse (Hornet) was a German twin-engine heavy fighter developed as a reworked version of the troubled Me 210, intended to replace the ageing Bf 110 in Luftwaffe service. Powered by two 1,750 hp Daimler-Benz DB 603 engines, it entered service in 1943 and flew in fighter, fast bomber, heavy Zerstörer, and reconnaissance roles. This kit represents the Me 410 A-1 and features engraved panel lines from Italeri's 1999 tooling.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic sprues
- Clear sprue for canopy and glazing
- Waterslide decal sheet with markings for two Luftwaffe aircraft (1./KG 51, France 1944; Stab V/KG 2, Germany 1944)
- Assembly and painting instructions
