The PZL.23 Karas was a Polish light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft designed by Stanislaw Prauss. The A version entered production in 1936 with the 590hp Pegasus IIM2, and the B version that followed used the more powerful 680hp Pegasus VIII, with 240 built between 1936 and 1938. The Karas equipped the Polish Air Force's bomber and reconnaissance squadrons and was the country's principal bomber during the September 1939 campaign. This kit covers the early production B airframe.
