Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Porsche 962 was the dominant endurance racing car of the mid-to-late 1980s, developed from the 956 to comply with IMSA safety regulations requiring the front axle line to be positioned ahead of the driver's feet. Powered by a turbocharged flat-six engine, it won Le Mans in 1986, 1987, and 1994 and claimed numerous IMSA GTP and World Sportscar Championship victories. The Kremer Racing team, one of Porsche's most successful privateer operations, ran a Kenwood-sponsored 962C as car #10 at the 1989 Le Mans 24 Hours, driven by Kunimitsu Takahashi, Bruno Giacomelli, and Giovanni Lavaggi. The car retired on lap 304 due to fire.
