The Jaguar XJR9 won Le Mans in 1988 — ending Porsche's run of dominance and marking Jaguar's return to outright victory at the Circuit de la Sarthe for the first time since 1957. Driven by Jan Lammers, Johnny Dumfries, and Andy Wallace, it was one of the most celebrated British motorsport results of the decade.

Heller's 1/43 kit covers the Silk Cut TWR #1 car from the 1989 Le Mans, which finished fourth. Like the Porsche 962 in this same Heller Le Mans range, it's a compact low parts-count build — plastic sprues, a clear sprue for the windscreen and lights, vinyl tyres, and waterslide decals for the distinctive purple and white Silk Cut livery. Straightforward assembly with a paint guide included.
