The Ferrari F1/87 was Ferrari's challenger for the 1987 Formula 1 season, powered by a turbocharged 1.5L V6 and driven by Michele Alboreto (#27) and Gerhard Berger (#28). It was a transitional car in Ferrari's turbo programme — Berger won the final two races of the season in Japan and Australia, giving Ferrari its only victories of the year. The F1/87 was updated for 1988 as the F1/87/88C, running in the final year of turbo eligibility before the switch to normally aspirated engines.
