Benetton Formula entered F1 in 1986 following the Toleman team buyout, fielding the BMW-turbocharged B186 in its debut season. The team went on to become one of F1's most successful of the late 1980s and 90s, winning Drivers' Championships with Michael Schumacher in 1994 and 1995. The colourful, sponsor-heavy liveries of the turbo era make Benetton cars among the most visually distinctive F1 subjects of the period.
