The 727 was Boeing's answer to short and medium haul airports that couldn't handle a four engine jet: three tail mounted JT8Ds, a full span high lift system, and the airstair in the rear fuselage so it could turn around anywhere. The stretched 200 series made up the bulk of production, and by the time the line closed in 1984 the 727 was the best selling jetliner in the world. Nearly every major carrier of the 1970s and 1980s flew one, which is why it remains a favourite subject for anyone building an airline collection.

This is a decal-less boxing. There are no markings in the box, so it's intended for use with aftermarket airline decal sheets, and the plain plastic makes it a straightforward canvas for a scheme of your choosing. Made in Japan.
