Description
HAS10130 - Hasegawa 1/200 Laude-air Boeing 777-200 - WWHP113334
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
Niki Lauda founded Lauda Air in 1979, and the Austrian carrier grew from charter work into scheduled long haul out of Vienna. Its 777-200s arrived in 1997, carrying the red and white livery with the angular L on the fin and the winged emblem forward, and they flew to Asia and Australia before the airline was absorbed into Austrian Airlines. The airframe on the sheet is OE-LPA. Lauda Air markings have become steadily harder to find as the brand receded, which is part of the appeal here.
Hasegawa's 1/200 777 tooling with a Lauda Air decal sheet. Made in Japan.
