The Nissan R89C was a Group C sports prototype developed by Nissan Motorsports International (NISMO) for competition in the 1989 All Japan Sports Prototype Championship (JSPC) and at Le Mans. Powered by a twin-turbocharged VRH35 V8 engine, the R89C was highly competitive in domestic Japanese endurance racing and secured multiple JSPC victories that season. This kit depicts the YHP-sponsored (Yokogawa Hewlett-Packard) car No. 24 as raced by NISMO in the 1989 JSPC championship.
