The TF-18A was the original designation for the two seat Hornet, later redesignated F/A-18B. Canada bought 40 of them as the CF-188B alongside the single seat CF-188, and they went into service from 1982, handling conversion training and operational work from Cold Girl Lake and Bagotville. Canadian Hornets are still flying today, which makes the early scheme on this boxing a period piece.

Canadian Forces markings are included, which is the main reason this boxing gets sought out here.
