Standing pilot figures are one of the easiest ways to bring a finished aircraft to life on a display base or diorama. This set from Hasegawa’s Aircraft in Action series gives you aircrew from four of the major air forces of the Second World War, each in period flying gear. The Luftwaffe pilots wear the classic one-piece flying suit and yellow life jacket. The American pilot leans casually in his A-2 leather jacket, and the RAF pilot wears his “Mae West” life jacket. The two Japanese aviators are in fur-collared flight suits with parachute harnesses, one shown climbing up onto his aircraft.
