The Ferrari 250 GTO is the most coveted car of the twentieth century, a homologation special built in tiny numbers between 1962 and 1964 that dominated GT racing and now changes hands for tens of millions. Its hand formed bodywork means no two cars are quite alike, and many were rebuilt or repaired over the years, which makes pinning down the original shape genuinely difficult. Gunze Sangyo's High-Tech Model series aimed at the top of the market, combining plastic bodywork with metal and photo etched components. This kit is aimed squarely at experienced modellers.
