FUJ7AD2 - Fujimi 1/72 B6N2 JILL Nakajima Carrier Attack Bomber - PREOWNED10116518
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Nakajima B6N Tenzan ("Heavenly Mountain") was the Imperial Japanese Navy's standard carrier torpedo bomber from 1944, developed as a replacement for the B5N and featuring a more powerful Mitsubishi Kasei radial engine in the B6N2 production variant. Despite being a capable and fast aircraft, the Tenzan entered service too late — by the time it reached front-line units, Japan had lost most of its experienced carrier aircrew and the large carriers needed to operate it effectively. The type saw extensive use from land bases in the Battle of Okinawa and was also employed in kamikaze attacks in the war's final months.
Box contents:
- Plastic sprue — fuselage, wings, Kasei engine and cowling, torpedo, and airframe components
- Clear plastic sprue — canopy
- Waterslide decal sheet — tail code and Hinomaru options
- Instruction sheet
