The Polikarpov I-15 was a Soviet biplane fighter of the 1930s, recognizable by its gulled upper wing, and saw combat in the Spanish Civil War, against Japan in the Far East, and in the early stages of the war on the Eastern Front. This boxing represents the aircraft fitted with skis for operation from snow and ice — its winter undercarriage configuration. The kit is moulded by ICM and boxed by Encore Models.
