The Volvo VN 780 is a long-haul sleeper tractor developed for the North American market, featuring a full-height integrated sleeper cab and the Volvo D13 engine. Introduced in the mid-2000s as an evolution of the earlier VN series, the 780 was Volvo's flagship North American truck for over a decade, competing directly with established US manufacturers. Italeri's 1/24 Show Trucks release depicts the VN 780 in custom show livery, with colour-moulded plastic, chromed wheel rims, and a decal sheet covering two decorative schemes.
