Moonraker (1979) was Roger Moore’s fourth outing as James Bond, and it sent 007 into orbit. Bond and CIA agent Dr. Holly Goodhead track the villain Hugo Drax, whose fleet of Moonraker space shuttles is carrying out a plan to wipe out humanity from a hidden space station. Along the way they have to deal with Drax’s steel-toothed henchman Jaws. The film came out two years before the real Space Shuttle first flew in 1981, and its spectacular effects earned an Academy Award nomination. Doyusha’s kit pairs a 1/288 Moonraker shuttle launch stack with 1/24 figures of the film’s three main characters.

• 1/288 scale Moonraker space shuttle with external tank and twin solid rocket boosters
• 1/24 scale figures of James Bond and Holly Goodhead in their yellow Drax flight suits, plus Jaws
• Display base with a 007 Moonraker nameplate
• Plastic parts, decals and instructions (resealed in shrink wrap, not inspected)
