The Breda Ba.25 was the most widely used basic trainer in 1930s Italy, a robust and agile two-seat biplane that first appeared in 1930 and equipped the flying schools of the Regia Aeronautica throughout the decade. Built in numerous versions differing mainly in their engines, it was also exported to China, Ethiopia and Paraguay, and a twin-float seaplane variant, the Ba.25 Idro, was produced to train Italy's naval aviators. Choroszy Modelbud's limited-run 1/72 resin kit captures this rarely modelled floatplane version.
