Description
AOSWL-100 - Aoshima 1/700 Royal Naval Plane - WWHP111839
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Fleet Air Arm operated a mix of British-designed and American Lend-Lease aircraft throughout the Second World War, flying from carriers in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Pacific theatres. This set represents four of the FAA's principal carrier types: the navalized Spitfire variant Supermarine Seafire, the Grumman F4F Wildcat (known in RN service as the Martlet), the Vought F4U-1 Corsair, and the venerable Fairey Swordfish torpedo bomber. The Swordfish in particular outlasted several of its supposed replacements, remaining in front-line service until 1945.

- Vought F4U-1 Corsair sprues (multiple examples)
