Description
AMT1335M/12 - AMT 1/25 1963 Corvette Convertible - WWHP113816
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The 1963 Corvette Sting Ray launched the second generation of America’s sports car. Its body was designed under Bill Mitchell, with Larry Shinoda’s sharp lines and hidden headlights. Under the skin, Zora Arkus-Duntov’s engineering added the first independent rear suspension on a Corvette. That made it a real handler as well as a fast car. The top engine was the fuel-injected 327 V8, rated at 360 hp. In its first year the Sting Ray outsold every Corvette before it, and the convertible remained the more popular body style. This AMT Street Rods kit can be built as a stock ‘63 or as a custom, with optional hoods, wheels, exhausts and street rod details.
- White injection-moulded plastic parts in the sealed bag (163 parts)
- Chrome-plated parts, including the grille, bumpers and two sets of custom wheels
- Clear and transparent red parts
