Description
AMO72332 - Amodel 1/72 HP Jetstream T2 Handley Page - WWHP113489
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box worn
The HP.137 Jetstream began life as a small pressurized turboprop airliner, and the design outlived Handley Page itself, passing to Scottish Aviation and later British Aerospace. The Royal Navy's Jetstream T2 was a radar-nosed conversion used to train Fleet Air Arm observers, flying with 750 Naval Air Squadron at RNAS Culdrose from 1978 until the type gave way to the Super King Air in 2011. This Amodel boxing covers XX478, coded 564/CU, as it appeared with 750 NAS in 2009 wearing Royal Navy titles and the blue cheatline scheme.
- 1/72 scale injection moulded plastic kit, 174 parts used for assembly
- Short run tooling, intended for experienced modellers
- Grey styrene frames lettered A through H, plus a clear frame for the cockpit and cabin glazing
- Some parts on the frames are marked as not for use, as the tooling is shared with the other Amodel Jetstream boxings
- Waterslide decal sheet for one scheme: XX478 / 564 / CU, 750 NAS, RNAS Culdrose, including roundels, Royal Navy titles, blue cheatlines, 100 Years of Naval Aviation markings and full airframe stencilling
- Multi-page instruction booklet with parts map, step by step assembly diagrams and Humbrol paint references
- 5 g of nose weight required, not supplied
- Finished model measures 226 mm span and 204 mm length
