The Curtiss Hawk 75A was the export version of the US Army's P-36, and France was its biggest customer, flying the A-1, A-2 and A-3 as the H-75 C.1 in the Battle of France. French Hawks scored more victories per aircraft than any other French fighter in 1940, and Czech ace Capt. Alois Vašátko of GC I/5 flew No. 61 to 12 confirmed and 2 probable kills. Captured examples later served with Finland against the Soviets and with the Luftwaffe as trainers, and AML released this multimedia kit in 2000 to cover all three air forces.
