The M3 Half-Track was the standard personnel carrier of the U.S. Army in the Second World War, developed from the earlier M2 scout car and produced in large numbers by the White Motor Company, International Harvester, and Autocar. The M3A1 variant introduced an improved M49 ring-mount for the .50 calibre machine gun, relocated to the right front. Over 41,000 M3-series vehicles were built between 1941 and 1944, serving with U.S., British Commonwealth, and Soviet forces across every theatre of operations.

This is a rebox of the original Airfix M3A1 Half-Track tooling, first released in 1966.
