The Humber Super Snipe 4x2 Open Tourer served as a staff car for senior British officers throughout the Second World War, proving tough enough for the North African desert and the campaigns in Northwest Europe that followed. Field Marshal Montgomery used one as his personal transport from Alamein onward, and it became closely identified with him. Airfix tooled this kit in 1971 as the first release in its 1/32 vehicle series.
