The Tupolev Tu-154M medium-range trijet entered production in 1984 as a refined, more economical version of the original Tu-154, carrying up to 158 passengers over 3,500km at speeds up to 950km/h. It became one of the most widely used airliners in Soviet and Russian service, flew for decades as a mainstay of Aeroflot and other Russian carriers, and was one of the most successful Soviet civil aircraft for export. This Zvezda kit is produced under licence from the Tupolev company.
