WIL72-210 - Martin B-10B Twin-Engine Bomber - WWWEB10107629
Preowned, Original seal, Box worn
The Martin B-10 was a landmark aircraft in American military aviation history. When it entered service in 1932, it was approximately twice as fast as the bombers it replaced and could outrun most contemporary fighters — a capability that fundamentally changed thinking about bomber design and defence. The B-10 was the first all-metal monoplane bomber adopted by the USAAC, with retractable landing gear, enclosed cockpits, and a rotating nose turret. The B-10B was the principal production variant, and the type served widely through the mid-1930s before being supplanted by the B-17 and B-18. Williams Brothers first tooled this kit in 1974; it remains one of very few 1/72 scale injection-moulded kits of the type. Fit is consistent with the era of the tooling and the kit is best suited to experienced builders.
