The Turbo Custom is the high-speed variant of Kunio Okawara's Scopedog, the squat, mass-produced Armored Trooper that defined Armored Trooper VOTOMS in 1983. It features prominently in the 1985 OVA The Last Red Shoulder, where Chirico Cuvie and his surviving Red Shoulder comrades each ran a differently equipped machine. Wave's 2016 PS-version kit (PS-02) covers all four in one box as a snap-fit build with polycap articulation throughout.
