Subject: Armour

Israeli Defense Forces green (approx. FS 34227 / FS 34127 range) — part of IDF tri-color armored vehicle camouflage, approx. 1970s–present (varies with repaint cycles). Applied to: Sho’t Kal (Centurion variants), Magach 3/5/6/7 (M48/M60 series), Merkava Mk.1, Mk.2, Mk.3, Mk.4; Nagmachon, Achzarit APC, Puma CEV, M113 Zelda (all variants), Eitan APC (modern). Used in Yom Kippur War (1973, limited early adoption), Lebanon War (1982), Second Intifada (2000–2005), Gaza operations (2000s–present).

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
