AU2024 - Avaition USK 1/72 Kokusai Ki-76 Stella WWHP112896
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Kokusai Ki-76 was a Japanese Army high-wing STOL liaison and artillery-spotting aircraft, given the Allied reporting name "Stella." Inspired by the German Fieseler Fi 156 Storch though not a direct copy, it used Fowler flaps and a Hitachi radial engine and entered service in 1942 as the Army Type 3 Command Liaison Plane. A small number were notably operated from the escort carrier Akitsu Maru in the anti-submarine role. This is a limited-run injection kit with photo-etched detail.
Box contents:
- Grey injection-moulded plastic sprues (limited-run)
- Photo-etched detail fret
- Clear canopy
- Waterslide decal sheet with three marking options
- Instruction sheet
