The Marder III (Sd.Kfz. 139) was a German tank destroyer introduced in March 1942, built on the Panzer 38(t) chassis and armed with the captured Soviet 7.62cm PaK 36(r) anti-tank gun. With 50mm frontal armour and a crew of four, it gave German units a mobile counter to Soviet armour on the Eastern Front. Around 363 were produced, and the type served through the later years of the war.
This is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit recommended for advanced modellers.
