Japan Airlines’ “JAL Dream Express” jets were special Disney-liveried airliners, flown to promote travel to Tokyo Disney Resort. The “Sweet” (スイート号) livery was applied to Boeing 747-400 JA8904 and celebrated two anniversaries: JAL’s 50th, in 2001, and Disney’s “100 Years of Magic.” Its bright orange-red fuselage was wrapped in a parade of classic Disney characters, with Mickey and Minnie on the nose and Aladdin, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle and the Beast, and Peter Pan along the cabin. The tail carried the JAL 50th Anniversary design. This display kit from Tomy captures one of the most colourful airliner liveries ever flown.
