The Tiger I (Sd.Kfz.181, Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. E) was Germany's first heavy tank, armed with the 88mm KwK 36 gun and heavily armoured for its time. Late-production vehicles introduced steel-rimmed resilient road wheels, a revised cupola, and other running changes, and many were coated in Zimmerit anti-magnetic paste. This Takom kit is a 2-in-1 boxing that builds either a standard late-production Tiger I or the late command version, with the Zimmerit texture moulded onto the parts.
