The Takom 2082 1/35 KamAZ Typhoon-K MRAP is a highly detailed plastic model kit of the modern Russian mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) armored vehicle, developed as part of the Typhoon family program. Designed for troop transport and protected mobility in high-threat environments, the Typhoon-K (KamAZ-63968) features a heavily armored V-hull chassis for blast deflection, modular armor protection, and advanced onboard systems intended to improve crew survivability against mines, IEDs, and small-arms fire.

Entering service in the mid-2010s, the Typhoon-K represents Russia’s move toward modern standardized MRAP platforms for mechanized infantry units. It can carry a fully equipped infantry squad and is fitted with independent hydropneumatic suspension, strong ballistic protection, and optional remote weapon station configurations depending on mission setup.
