The Ta 152H was Kurt Tank's high altitude answer to the pressure of Allied bombing: a Fw 190D stretched into something new, with long span wings, a pressurised cockpit and a Jumo 213E giving around 470 mph at 41,000 feet with boost. Only about 60 were completed before the end, mostly serving with III./JG 301, where they were largely tied up flying cover for Me 262 airfields rather than fighting at the altitudes they were built for. Trimaster's 1989 tooling remains the benchmark multimedia kit of the type.
