HMS King George V was the name ship of Britain's final class of WWII battleships, armed with ten 14-inch guns in two quadruple and one twin turret. She played a key role in the destruction of the German battleship Bismarck in May 1941, delivering the first British gunfire hits of the engagement, and later served in both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres before the war's end. Tamiya's 1/700 Water Line Series kit builds her as a waterline display model representing her wartime appearance.
