TAMSS2411 - Tamiya 1/24 Alpine Renault A442B Turbo - WWHP111549
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Renault Alpine A442B was Renault's Group 6 sports-prototype built to win Le Mans. After near-misses in 1976 and 1977, the A442B finally delivered at the 1978 24 Hours of Le Mans — driven by Didier Pironi and Jean-Pierre Jaussaud to an outright victory in the famous yellow and black Renault/elf livery, beating the factory Porsche 936s. Powered by a 2-litre 90° V6 turbo, Renault subsequently withdrew from sports cars to focus on Formula 1. Original motorized kit, 1/24 Sports Car Series No. 11. Motor mechanism included; RE-260 motor and batteries sold separately.
Note: Group 6 sports-prototype. Le Mans 1978 subject. Motorized — no glue required for chassis assembly.
