The Fiat 131 Abarth was one of the dominant rally cars of the late 1970s, winning the World Rally Championship manufacturers' title in 1977 and 1978 with drivers including Markku Alen, Walter Rohrl, and Bernard Darniche. Developed by Abarth from the production Fiat 131, the competition version used a 2.0-litre twin-cam engine and a fully developed suspension package to deliver competitive performance across all rally surfaces. The Alitalia-liveried cars are among the most iconic rally liveries of the Group 4 era.
