The Mitsubishi Ki-46, known to the Japanese Army as the Hyakushiki Shitei and to the Allies as "Dinah," was a high speed strategic reconnaissance aircraft whose sleek lines and performance impressed friend and foe alike, and Germany even sought a production licence. The Type III introduced more powerful Ha-112-II engines and a smooth, stepless glazed nose, allowing it to outrun many Allied fighters at altitude. This 2006 limited edition Twin Pack pairs Tamiya's 1/48 Ki-46-III with a set of Japanese Army ground crew figures.
