Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The JS-2 was built to kill Tigers from the front. A 122mm gun firing a shell heavy enough to blow turrets off their rings, paired with armour up to 120mm thick, made it the heaviest hitter the Red Army fielded in numbers, and production began in December 1943. From August 1944 the vehicles built at the Chelyabinsk Kirov Works carried a redesigned one-piece cast nose that removed the stepped hull front and its driver's hatch, curing the weak spot in the earlier glacis. It fought as much against fortified positions as against armour, and it was there at the end in Berlin.
