Description
TAM35209 - Tamiya 1/35 Panzerkamfwagen IV Ausf. H Early Ver.- WWWEB10116282
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Panzer IV was the only German tank to remain in production from the first day of the war to the last, and the Ausf.H was its definitive form, built from April 1943 with the long 7.5cm KwK 40 L/48, thicker frontal armour and the SSG 77 transmission. Early production Ausf.H vehicles retained a good deal of the preceding late Ausf.G, including bolted appliqué plates on the hull front, the older sprocket wheels and the anti-shell ribs on the superstructure roof. Schürzen skirting around the hull sides and turret had become standard by this point, giving the tank the distinctive silhouette most modellers associate with the type at Kursk and in Italy.
