TAM31902 - Tamiya 1/700 Waterline Series DD445 Fletcher - WWHP111512
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Fletcher class was the most numerous destroyer class in US Navy history, with 175 ships completed between 1942 and 1944 — a testament to American wartime industrial capacity. Armed with five 5"/38 dual-purpose guns, ten torpedo tubes, and extensive anti-aircraft batteries, Fletchers were the backbone of USN destroyer operations in the Pacific from 1942 onwards, serving in every major campaign from Guadalcanal through the end of the war. DD-445 Fletcher was the lead ship of the class, active in the Pacific from the Third Battle of the Solomon Sea.
