The McLaren Senna was unveiled at the 2018 Geneva show, named with the blessing of the Senna family for the driver who won three world titles for McLaren. Built around a carbon fibre monocoque and clothed in bodywork shaped entirely by aerodynamic and cooling demands, it produced 800hp from a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 and generated 800kg of downforce at speed. Only 500 were made, and every one was sold before the car was even shown publicly.
