LaFerrari was Maranello's first hybrid road car and the successor to the Enzo, built in a run of 499 from 2013. Its HY-KERS system paired a 6.3 litre naturally aspirated V12 with an electric motor for a combined 950hp, making it the most powerful road-going Ferrari of its era. The carbon fibre monocoque was laid up by hand at the same facility that builds the Formula 1 chassis, and the active aerodynamics, with deployable front and rear elements, came straight from the racing programme.
