Porsche unveiled the Carrera GT as a concept at the Paris Motor Show in 2000, and the production version followed three years later. It was built around a carbon fibre monocoque and pushrod suspension, and powered by a 5.7 litre V10 that had originally been developed for racing. The removable roof panels turned it into an open-top supercar. Porsche built 1,270 before production ended in 2006. This Tamiya Full-View edition has a clear body, so the detailed V10, monocoque tub and suspension stay visible after assembly.
