Description
TAM24286 - Tamiya 1/24 Raybrig NSX 2005 Super GT Winner - WWHP111538
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Raybrig NSX was Team Kunimitsu's 2005 Super GT GT500 entry — the only Honda in the series that year running two non-Japanese drivers. Sponsored by Raybrig (a Stanley Electric lighting brand) and fielded under the Tamiya-sponsored team, the car mounted an M-Tec Honda 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated V6 — switching from a twin-turbo unit mid-season — in a naturally-aspirated configuration that unlocked improved balance and weight. The NSX scored the car's season highlight at Round 5, Twin Ring Motegi, with a 1st place finish. The car carried Tamiya branding as part of the team's long-standing sponsorship relationship. Original new tool released by Tamiya in 2006; a companion kit (24287) covers the Epson NSX 2005.
