Special Hobby's 1/72 kit of the He 59, the big twin engine biplane floatplane Heinkel first flew in 1931. It served the Luftwaffe through the 1930s and into the war on reconnaissance, minelaying and air sea rescue duties, and the D was the trainer version. A short run kit, so it builds up with plenty of rigging and strut work to reward the effort.
